Born and raised in Albany, GA, up-and-coming hip hop artists Knick Babie, Almighty Choppo, and Billy Da Kid (Nasty), known as The Blockos, have taken their city by storm. With neighborhood anthems such as Extortion, Da Block, Julio, and many more dating back to 2016, The Blockos are one of the most exciting hip-hop groups on the rise.

You may have noticed several faces in their videos or heard several voices on the group’s local hits, all of whom are instrumental to their success. The Blockos have evolved heavily over the years, with the main sentiment always being to keep it in the family. From the original trio of Knick Babie, Almighty Choppo, and Billy Da Kid, the group has come to have many other prominent rappers from their neighborhood join the group. New addition WrongWay is cut from the same cloth as Knick, Choppo, and Billy, and continues to steam head The Blockos output during the untimely absence of both Choppo and Billy. He’s still supported by Knick Babie, who, as perhaps the most prominent artist from The Blockos, is still firing on all cylinders. Frequent collaborators include R2K Hotboy, Jugger Merk, Baby Youngin, and many others.

The many faces and voices are family and fans also called Blockos. The word Blocko is equivalent to sister, brother, homie, or friend. The group has collectively received over 2.8 million streams and views in the last 5 years on all of their projects. Their latest group mixtape Most Hated can be found on all music platforms, along with the many projects by individual artists within The Blockos, which come out more regularly.
